After the summit, or the whole reason you came.
Legend runs private safaris across northern Tanzania, from the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire, Lake Natron and Mkomazi. Every safari is planned by our own team in Moshi. Come straight from your Kilimanjaro climb, or fly in just for the safari: we can collect you from Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport, or your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
You get your own Land Cruiser and driver-guide, a clear price, and a route built around your dates and the wildlife you want to see. Pick one of our eleven safaris below, or tell Jack what you have in mind.

Where are the herds?
Around 1.5 million wildebeest, with zebra and gazelle, follow the rains in a loop through the Serengeti and Kenya's Masai Mara. Pick a month to see where they usually are.
January
Calving begins
The herds are spread across the short-grass plains of the southern Serengeti and Ndutu, and the first calves arrive.

The migration follows the rain, so timings shift by a few weeks each year. Ask Jack where the herds are right now.
“An experience of a lifetime.”
Bethany, Three Day Safari
“Our safari in Tanzania with Legend Expeditions was absolutely incredible, an experience of a lifetime! The scenery was beyond breathtaking, and everything about the trip was seamless, thanks to Jack, the owner of Legend Expeditions, and our safari guide, Magoma.”
“Jack kept in constant contact with me prior to me leaving the UK, whilst I climbed Kili and on safari. This level of communication was beyond my expectation, and we have kept in touch afterwards because I will certainly be going on another adventure with them!”
“I would wholeheartedly recommend adding the safari package on to your trip. The knowledge of the Legend team on locating and explaining about the animals is second to none. The accommodation and catering were also excellent.”
